CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE AND CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE)
CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE: If you complete the paperwork, SSSS will issue you a Certificate of Attendance for the conference program. The Certificate of Attendance is awarded, at no additional cost, for attendance only and does not imply evaluation of learning.
CE COST: CE sessions marked with * at this conference are included in the registration fee. Doors close 15 minutes after the start of all CE sessions. Late arrivals will not earn CE.
INTENT: CE is intended to meet the needs of professionals with terminal degrees. Press are allowed to attend during conference CE only with permission of the CE chair and presenters. SSSS maintains the right to refuse registration to anyone whom we deem unqualified to attend. It is the professional's responsibility to determine the acceptability of these programs for specific licensure or certification needs.
APPROVAL BY PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR SSSS TO OFFER CONTINUING EDUCATION: SSSS strives to maintain approvals to offer CE from professional organizations. We have to adhere to criteria of those organizations. In all CE sessions, participants must sign in and out, complete a participant's satisfaction form, and complete an assessment of learning. Only those sessions noted as CE in the program meet the criteria for the approval organizations. For all approvals, CE credit may be awarded upon the completion of the session. SSSS maintains responsibility for the program.
For specific CE information not covered above, please contact Sharon McNeely at mcneelys@execpc.com
Further program information: We reserve the right to make any necessary changes in the program without advance notice. Some program changes may be posted on this website. The final program, which will also contain the abstracts, will be available at the conference and is not mailed to registrants. Following the conference, presenters who request it will receive written documentation of their attendance and presentation.
EXPLICIT MATERIALS NOTICE: What is presented and discussed at this program will be explicitly sexual in nature and may be offensive to some. We assume that the registrant is of legal age and accepts responsibility to leave any session that is found offensive. We also assume that no registrant will bring minors to sessions. We do not assume any responsibility for what is presented or discussed.
STUDENT MEMBERS of SSSS may apply for partial fee reimbursement for up to 8 hours of work at the conference at $12/hr. However, the full registration fee must be submitted at the time of registration. If you work, reimbursement will be forwarded soon after the conclusion of the conference. Contact Gayle Charboneau at ngcharboneau@aol.com or 562-225-0272 to sign up.
REFUND POLICY: If you must cancel your registration, you need to send a letter or email to SSSS. A full refund will be issued if the request is received by March 1, 2006. A $50 administrative fee applies for refunds requested between March 1 and March 30, 2006. Refunds can not be made if you cancel your registration after March 30, 2006.
