Transgenderism in the Postmodern Decade of this Century

Transgenderism is one of three identifiable divisions of the Crossgender phenomenon. It is characterized by feelings and emotions, usually associated with the feminine or the masculine gender categories, and makes extensive use of "gender props" in the individual's presentation. Both females and males can and do cross conventional gender boundaries, and them may self-label as TG.

This paper will focus on some of the diversity within this CG category. An updated nomenclature and taxonomy will be introduced for purposes of clarifying some of the complexities of the behaviors associated with Tgism. Time permitting, we will introduce a more useful paradigm for understanding individual gender choices and lifestyles.
