Submission Guidelines
Electronic submissions are preferred and strongly encouraged
Please submit the following by Nov. 1, 2002:
1. Completed proposal cover sheet.
2. One copy of an abstract of less than 500 words, with
author identification.
3. Three copies of the abstract without author identification.*
4. One learning objective and one assessment question
for each hour you have requested for your presentation (e.g., for 3-hour
workshops, please submit 3 objectives and questions).
Sample objective: To understand the impact of chronic
pain on sexual functioning.
Sample assessment: Name three ways chronic pain affects
sexual functioning.
5. Your vita (this will be used for CE administrative
purposes only, not in evaluating proposals).
6. One self-addressed postcard for acknowledgment of
receipt, and one stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope for notification
of acceptance/rejection. *
7. One copy of a brief abstract, less than 150 words,
with presenter's name, address, phone number, email address, and other
authors' names. This is for the final program and must be sent by email
to chair@sssswr.org. Paper submissions
of brief abstracts will NOT be accepted.
* We strongly encourage electronic submissions. Electronic
submissions may omit steps 3 & 6.
